You can't put led lights in , will mess up the BCM - body control module . Led lights don't pull as much current as original bulbs an the BCM expects to see a fixed amount .

Turn Signal/Hazard Lamps
The body control module (BCM) is responsible for controlling the turn signals and hazard lamps. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left turn or right turn position, the BCM receives a signal from the turn signal switch. The BCM then sends an on-off voltage signal to either the left or right turn signals and their instrument panel cluster (IPC) indicator. When the hazard switch is pressed, the BCM receives a signal from the hazard switch. The BCM then will send an on-off voltage signal to all the turn signal lamps. All the turn signal lamps will flash including both IPC turn signal indicators.

You have no idea what you are doing. Put the original lamps back in and then educate yourself on modern automotive electronics.

I'm not sure if that generation of Equinox is fitted with one. Some models control the turn signal directly through the Body Control Module, (BCM), a part of the computers main 'Brain'. You are probably better off putting the original bulbs back in.

Where is the blinker relay in my 2011 Chevy Equinox.

PCB Relays
This vehicle is equipped with the following printed circuit board PCB mounted relays.
• High beam
• Low beam
• DRL
• Fog lamp
• Park lamp
• Stop lamp
• Horn relay
They are directly soldered to the underhood fuseblock circuit board. A failure of one of these relays will require the whole under hood fuse block to be replaced.

When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left turn or right turn position, the BCM receives a signal from the turn signal switch. I would like to replace the stock turn signal bulbs with LEDs; I need to find and replace the turn signal flasher/relay

It's usually under the dash on the driver's side area. What vehicle are you asking for?

Where is the flasher unit for the 2012 Equinox?

I believe another way to stop hyperflash is to wire a standard indicator unit & bulb in the flasher circuit to fool the flasher unit - fit it somewhere obviously accessible but not visible outside the vehicle(under bonnet probably)

2000 taurus left turn signal flashes rapidly and the left rear turn signal lamp does not work. Does ford have burned out bulb sense circuit that would give this indication? The right side flashes normally.

Yes - the fast flashing is a warning that a bulb is burned out. Change the bulb (be careful to put it in the same as the old one as it probably is 2 bulbs in one , parking and turn/stop) and you should be fine.
