Can someone tell me what else I need to do to my 06 Pontiac G6 GTP I have changed the shift solenoids in the transmission but my odometer is reading error and it still isn't shifting correctly

Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop .

Odometer
The instrument panel cluster (IPC) contains a season odometer and a trip odometer. Momentarily press the trip/reset switch in order to toggle between the season odometer and the trip odometer. Press the trip/reset switch for greater than 2 seconds, while the trip odometer is displayed, in order to reset the trip odometer. The odometer is calculated and stored electronically in the body control module (BCM). The BCM uses the vehicle speed information from the powertrain control module (PCM) to calculate the odometer. The odometer displays 'error' if an internal IPC memory failure is detected. The IPC stores a backup copy of the odometer value incase the IPC stops receiving a valid odometer value from the BCM.

Hooking up a scan tool to check codes Would the first step . A professional scan tool , one that can read codes in IPC / BCM . Auto zone can't check these , nor advance ,nor o' Reilly part stores You have no idea of the complexity of the electronics on that vehicle .

P0758 shift solenoid

solenoid in inside the transmission side cover. You must drop the engine cradle and lower transmission about 8-10 inch's to remove. just did one yesterday took about 4 hr .

Where are the camshaft actuator valves located on a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP 3.9L V6

I believe you are thinking of the wrong kind of valve. You do not have solenoid valves, you have mechanical valves that open and close off of the lobes of the camshaft.

09 pontiac g6 2.4 has trouble shifting, error message on odometer set a code for output shaft speed sensor performance. Could it be my PCM or the transmission?

The code tells you that it is a sensor so that is what I would be looking at fixing first. Have a pressure test done on the box to remove any pressure problem indicators before you pull the box.

I have a 2006 G6 GTP,, occasionally the traction control light comes on and the car shifts hard, please help

There are many reasons for the light to come on example: tire pressure not same in all tires, tires of diffrent size, ABS sensor wire loose or cracked. The best thing is to retrive the code which will tell you exactely what and which VSS vehicle speed sensor is failing.

I have a g6 and the speedometer is reading error and the car isnt shifting correctly

Your vehicle is in what is called "limp mode". You will need codes pulled from your cars ECU to determine the failure.

2006 Pontiac G6 GTP window auto close/open

OMG. I replaced the battery in my 06 G6 and had the same problem. the windows would not roll up or down how they did before. I read the answers on here and it does work. Hold up the window switch for ten seconds and it resets. You will have to do it to each window. Worked great. Thanks
