To bypass pats system diagram for 1997 ford mustang GT 4.6 can I bypass from the fuse box

Early Ford PAT system used a separate module but it was buried behind the dash and with a lot of work it could be bypassed but later models integrated the PAT system into the engine management system and for a while it was possible for a specialist to decode the engine management ECU though when vehicles became fully digital or fully computerised this was no longer practical (or possible).

How do I bypass the pats on a 97 ford mustang ?

Generally early PAT system could be bypassed as it was controlled by a separate module which was accessible after removing the dash, though whether that applies to your Mustang I couldn't say.
Later systems had the PAT system integrated into the engine management ECU and couldn't be bypassed though a specialist could either repair the system, recode or even decode it.

When did Ford start using P.A.T

It's P.A.T.S - SecuriLock, also known as Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS), is Ford Motor Company's immobilizer technology. In 1996 the technology started showing up on select models of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles.

2003 ford mustang gt anti theft light flashing engine will turn over but will not start

From my experience...
A non PATS coded key SHOULD not turn the STARTER...!

If ANTI-THEFT were invoked... you can attain a not start condition which the Owners Manual says must be cleared by the dealer.

A working PATS key should disable the anti theft... by turning the ignition on... ELSE try your other key.

The SecuriLock [PATS]
passive anti-theft system is not compatible with
non-Ford aftermarket remote start systems. Use of these systems may
result in vehicle starting problems and a loss of security protection.

Is there a way to bypass the PATS systm on a 2014 ford mustang?

The PATS system is integrated into the Engine Control Module on Ford vehicles ,so I doubt there is an effective way to bypass it.

2001 v6 ford mustang. when i try to start it it cranks like it wants to start but it wont, it just started doing that more consistent

Well, I have an 01 V6 Mustang as well. I am having the same problem. It is an intermittant problem with the PATS system. What i normally do is to disconnect the battery and let it sit. Sometimes it takes a few hours, sometimes overnight. I am actually on my way to have a remote start unit installed. The remote start unit will include a PATS bypass module. I will return to let you know how it works.....
