I "shorted" +12v & gnd to the radio. Radio now has no 12v supply. Radio fuse is ok. Just noticed that display isnt working either. Has to be a fuse
There should be 2 +12V supply wires. One is always on even when ignition is off. Another will be ON when the key id turned to ACC position. The radio fuse usually control the ACC supply. Check the function of the following items on the car.- Hazard switch. Horn. Brake lights. Rear lights. Room lights. If any of them them does not work replace the fuse and the radio supply will be available. It also shows that the supply for the radio is tapped from one of those circuits. If you know how to check with a test light. Check all fuses that should have supply even when ignition is off.

Thanks Abdul.
Everything is working except the 12v supply to the radio.
I'm using continually on supply.
(pink cable, # 14340)
Trying to trace that back to a fguse (somewhere??)
almost all sorted.Replaced fuse8. Thank you.
Lost a setting on centre console display though.
Can't see "how many miles to re-fuel" on the display.
Can't access it via the menu on the radio?
Check the user manual. Some settings have to be done by a diagnostic scanner.
