TPMS light, Brake Light, ABS light comes on for a second, Speedometer drops to zero

1. check all fuses
2. get the PCM scanned
3. get it serviced.

Locate the 16 pin Data Link Connector under the steering side.
To clear fault codes, switch off ignition, connect jumper wire between terminals TS (pin 12) and CG (pin 4). Switch the key on, then pump the brake pedal eight or more times in three seconds or less. When codes are erased, the ABS light should flash two times per second.

Switch off the ignition. Remove the jumper wire.
Hope that works.
If problem persists, contact a service personnel.

My ABS and Brake light goes on alot. Also sometimes my gages will go up and down for no reason. That is what they call the GM shuffel. It happens to alot of GM vehicles.
I never had a problem with loosing power or the tranny stuck in second gear. Sounds electrical, if no one can help here, get that thing to a garage before your hurt.

Most likely a failed "vehicle speed sensor", have ECM codes pulled to verify.

hi i would check the abs module its located on the abs pump it controls the speedometer and can also bring lights on the dash eg abs &the brake warning light

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Its exactly the abs module! and its keeping the ecu from communicating with the rest of the car, when you remove the module your tac will come back alive and the oil light will turn off. There is way to trick the ecu to thinking the abs module is working but it involves taking out the module, it is fairly simple. This sounds like a bad ground or poor connection maybe in the main plug that connects at the firewall. The last thing to condemn would be the computer. I have come across a good many of this thing on the older model cars and trucks, and all you can do is search it out.

u need to get fuse box checked it maybe melted on the bottom
