I dont think you can bypass the immobiliser on VW. I do know it is part of the dashboard and engine ecu. So if u have a faulty dash it can cause a lot of issues. What is the problem you are having?
The answer is in the question. Immobiliser, its worked and the purpose is obvious. The reason only dealers and specialists can do it is if it was easy then everyone would be stealing your car. If its not operating then change the key fob battery and make sure the car battery is fully charged, some systems wont work below 10 volts or so.
its a 2007 model and as such can have the key fob reset with dealer diagnostic software ,wouldnt have thought removing a fuse would de-actrivate the factory immobilisor though
need code for radio
there is little slots in radio and use whats known as radio keys to remove them
and radio shop or automobile supplies should have them
lot of different types so bring car with you keys inserted and they pop the radio for removal
hope this helps
YOU CANNOT BYPASS THE VW ALARM/IMMOBILISER SYSTEM....without causing irriparable damage to the car, stops the thieves dead.....they just sell the spares.
sometimes it depends on the type of allarm, if it is factory fitted they are a nightmare to do as most of the wireing for the allarm is intergrated into the loom, where as if it is an after marked alarm ( one fitted later on ) it shouldnt be to bad but still a long and complicated job to find all the wires and reconnect the originals bypassing the immobiliser/alarm if you are a complete novice this should not be attempted as you could immobilise the car completely, best thing for you to do is get an auto electrician to have a look at it for you, sorry its not much help
