Jump the switch side of relay with jumper wire, cavities for terminals 30 and 87 in diagram. As you see in diagram, terminal 87 shows to be fuse protected and hot all the time. switch side is left side of relay in diagram. The pump should run with jumper, don't need the key. You can also see fuel pump/oil pressure switch, redundant power supply to the fuel pump. Even w/o the relay, once you crank it enough to bring up oil pressure, that switch closes and the pump should run, depending.
The fuel pump power feed is fused and switched by the fuel pump relay.
The relay is controlled by the PCM.
The PCM energizes the relay depending on the position of the ignition key and the input from the crankshaft position sensor.
The pump will not run if the pump is bad, the relay does not energize, or an open circuit exists from battery positive to pump fuse from fuse to relay or from relay to pump or pump ground (battery negative).
Possibly a bad relay
i can hear the relay working when i turn the key on but the pump not coming on.
the replace the pump
can i just replace the fuel pump or do i need to replace the fuel pump & housing assembly?
you can but it requires dropping the tank. testing the relay is 1st option and lots cheaper thanthe pmump
how do i test the relay?
i buy a new one and try it and hope I didn't waste my money
i jump terminals 30 and 87 the pump don't run
when i turn the key on i can hear the relay click

If it's the original pump you have been lucky was no recall but if and when the unit failed you had to replace the harness connector a well due to corrosion which caused the pump to fail this may not be the problem with yours like RAY states check relay first check for power to the pump and the pump is Incorporated in to the housing unit
