SOURCE: i have just removed a head of a 1992 mitsubishi 6g72 pajero motor expecting to see a blown gasket ??

You are missing the cause, the next step is to PRESSURE TEST the head, a machine shop does that for you. Long story short, something, somewhere is damaged, keep investigating until you find it.

SOURCE: Montero/Pajero 6g72 3.0 V6 auto tranny is shifting up too early. At 20kph, it has gone through 1st-3rd gears already. Could this be related to the TPS? Tranny was just rebuilt btw.

Tried to take neg off battery for 30 minutes? These vehicles have adaptive learning, (i have a mitsu galant), If that doesnt help you may have to go to dealer to have learning cleared.
