SOURCE: no injector pulse

hello sir,

absence of ground pulse means there is some kind of shorting circuit in your control circuit.

which can make the ground pulse to get shorted there itself preventing it to reach the circuit properly.

thank you

don't forget to rate the solution

good day

Remove the exhaust, drop the rear end, remove the fuel cap, and surrounding rubber flange. remove the two hanger straps (be sure to have fuel tank supported so it doesn't just fall out. Remove hoses/electrical connector. Pull tank out, and remove metal lock ring that holds fuel pump assembly in place. Remove fuel pump assembly. Installation is reverse of removal. I have had 7 of these cars, and am currently driving one now. If you have any other questions about it, please ask!

SOURCE: CHANGING THE FUEL PUMP ON A 1986.5 NISSAN HARDBODY EXT CAB 4X4

lol good ? look at your tank staps compared too the bed bolts might be cheaper getting new bolts rather then fuel straps, the pumps from a 2 or 4 wheel might not make a difference *** lond as same engine.

What are the signs and symptoms of a fuel pump needing replaced. Other than the obvious that the car will not start 2000 Nissan frontier V6, 3.3L 4x4 crew cab

You don't hear it running when your turn the key on just before the crank position.

You have replaced the fuel filter and it was pretty much stopped up. (destroyed pump trying to pump through stopped up filter.)

Because it was going bad you couldn't drive fast because it wasn't pumping enough fuel.

Disconnect fuel line and see if fuel comes out when you turn the key on.

Nissan Pickup 87

Hi mrboson1

You'll need to remove the prop shaft from the vehicle and when it's off, disassemble the sliding yoke at it's centre...Once that's done you can remove the bearing assembly and replace with a new one....reassembly is the opposite.... Make sure to assemble the bearing the correct way around....

87 Nissan Pathfinder Fuel Pump

if you ran out of fuel it may have blown the fuel pump fuse. put gas in tank. replace fuel pump fuse and cycle the key on but not to the start position, you should hear a buzzing noise which is your fuel pump when the buzzing stops turn ignition off and do it again. repeat a bout 5-10 times and it should start after that.
