Why doesn't passenger seat(back) raise?

All other movements work and nothing is blocking it.

There is no fix for this, u will need to replace the seat belt.

yes it the same motor, the problem u will find is the seat control switch, it is the most common failure in any power seat system.

Just experienced the same problem with by 05 cts-v. It's the passenger presence sensor under the frot passenger seat. I was quoted $700 from a caddy dealer to replace.

check wiring under drivers seat to memory seat control module as they may have been pulled out or broken if so need to go to dealership, is your vehicle still in warranty if so repair at dealership is free

I have a 2008 Saturn Outlook. Every time I set something or if someone sits in the passenger seat the service air bag system light comes on. I've checked all the connections under the seat nothing is loose...
GM has issued a fix campaign for this problem. The 08 Saturn outlook is included if your last 8 VIN is from 8J162227 through 8J66442. See this post

You have a problem with the power seat transmission. The 1st thing to do is make sure that nothing under the seat is impeding the movement of the seat, if that is OK you will need to try and find a used power seat transmission, the parts are not sold separately, just the whole assembly.

Cant locate the fuse for the cigarette lighter in my hhr 2008
The cigarette lighter fuse is located in engine compartment under hood. Engine Compartment Fuse Block: The under-hood fuse block is located on the driver side of the engine compartment. 2008 Jeep Commander, both driver and passenger power seat controls stop working. Also noticed that the heated seat controls for both have also stop working. Don't know if it is a fuse or something. ...

2 things. how do i replace the brake light on my dodge nitro and 2. the passenger air bag light is on happen to know why??
The vehcle has what called advanced qirbag system. It has weight sensors on the passenger front seat. This is for if you have a small child undeer 30 pounds in the front seat the airbags will not deploy. Try sitting in the seat with the car running if the light go out that is why. If it does not have the dealer recalbrate the weight sensors. P.S. don't put small this on the seat like boxes or books that will throw the calibration off. hope this helps.

Airbag alarm
This should be for the passenger side airbag. If an adult is sitting in the passenger side seat and there is a light that says airbag off then you have a problem either with the passenger side airbag or with the passenger side seat detector. Start up the car and sit in the passenger seat, buckle the seat belt and make sure the light now says airbag on. If this does not happen take car to dealer. Dealers have correct computers to enter the airbag modules to read and diagnose the fault code.
