Go to YouTube, and enter "2005 Hyundai Tiburon GT valve timing" in the search box. You will find several videos that deal with changing the timing belt and water pump. Toward the end of each video, when they are reassembling the components, they will show the correct way to set the crankshaft pulley and cam pulleys to properly time the engine.

SOURCE: Change the spark plugs on

You have to remove the air intake manifold. The last three are under that. If you dont feel comfortable taking it apart then take it to a dealer.

How to change the time in a Honda CRV Japanese 2007

You have to be in map mode, then hit setup button -> more(on the top screen) -> clock settings.
Auto clock adjustment for this year doesn't work, because they changed when Daylight Savings time occurs after this model year.

What is the tappet clearance for a man 10.225 engine

long time since i worked on big diesels but assuming their manual tappets and not hydraulic then use the norm i would set all engines too ,unless its a 60s GT type engine ,long story to get the vacumn right with high lift cams but a cooking engine like this then i would use 12th inlet and 15 exhaust ,this will get you out the woods so to speak ,this setting works on a ford D series engine ,a gardner ,a eagle diesel rolls royce ,in fact any truck engine apart from things like a 3lt V6 capri gt or a 1.6 gt cortina where as they made the cams have such a high lift they wouldnt idle on lower settings than 18th inlet and 21exhaust ,so in effect defeating the object of a GT engine ,but i dont have the time to answer on how to set up a racing engine .

How to set the timing 98 Isuzu Amigo 2.2

i feel the pain of owning any ISUZU.
(suzuki, Daewoo,yugo, etc)
1994 the Amigo was dropped from sales in the USA>
so you are non USA> (a key factor) and on engine.
2.2-liter petrol (X22XE)
or the Europe sold
2.2-liter diesel (X22DTH)

perlexing how 2.2. means nothing.?

so out comes my wild dice and roll>>>>>>>> drum roll......
Bam

ILL GUESS GAS.
guess 2 is cam. timing. not diesel pump time or spark.
is this engine Interference type, (always check that first)
  • 2.2L Diesel Interference
  • 2.2L Gasoline Interference
them means never crank the motor, until 100% sure cam is timed right or you will bend over the valves ( that is why I say 1st) see>?
or worse , !
Gas &cam , change timing belt, (not stated, and is key)
ok, alldata.com we go
spark 2.2L USA> (no diesel here, )
These engines are equipped with a Distributorless Ignition System (DIS). No adjustment is possible.

The chapter on timing belt :.
there are 22 steps
ill presume you have all 22 and just need the marks photos.
and that you have a cam locking tool. ???? seen in step 12.
and step 15? the super secret, 4mm tension step for tooth? offset???
yes/no?
ok here is the drawing 1 or 2.
did i guess right>???

The wide mark is TDC (Top Dead Center), each mark after the wide mark represents 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 degrees before TDC. Set timing 3 degrees BTDC (Before Top Dead Center). In addition, valve timingis set like this: Intake opens: 12 degrees BTDC

How to set a timing belt

Factory timing for all 90-93 normally aspirated Celicas (ST, GT, and GT-S) is 10º before top dead center (BTDC). This means when the crankshaft angle of the number one cylinder reaches 10º, the spark plug will fire. It fires before it reaches top dead center (TDC) because the flame front takes time to fully combust and push the piston downward. this site might help u .http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/timing.htm
