1995. Why doesn't wiper motor work?

POWER WINDOWS NOT WORKING & POWER WINDOW/REGULATOR ISSUES

It can be issue with motor itself. If it's not going up, then how its working down. But still it feels like weak window motor or is issue with power window switch. Get the voltage tested at switch and motor. Also try another working window motor at not working window side.

i found that my wipers stopped working because of a bad ground. try running a ground strap ftom the wiper motor housing (roach clip connector) to the frame then try using your wipers

I had one with a poltergeist in it. It might run fine for weeks and one day when it's above 90 it would shut off. Let it sit for about a half hour and it would run fine for a few days or weeks. The Ford dealer could not figure it out. I found out it was not getting fuel even though it had a new pump and filter, same problem. Found a good used fuel regulator and that seemed to help out as the old one was full of rust. It shut off about 6 months after that and restarted & I soon sold that problem.

I would vote maybe as I owned a 1994 with over 161,000 miles and own a second similar car with 60,000. As with all equipment, maintainence is as important as design.

I had the Trans fluid changed at 60,000 mile intervals and the oil changed every 3500-4000 miles. My original exhaust system was on it when sold, as were the Starter, Alternator, Radiator, Water pump, Power steering pump, and A/C, all over 10 years old.

My rear swaybar bolt rusted off at 145,000 and I know I put on 2 Drivers window motors with Regulators. The wiper motor went 1 or 2 times but I live around Detroit and those motors did have to push snow and ice instead of rain.-

The front wheel bearings were sealed, the optional performance package gave bigger brakes and a thicker driveshaft with bigger u-joints. The tierod ends failed more than I thought they should, but only 1 balljoint needed replacing. My car had Air-ride and it lasted for me. There is a groove under the Airhorn which needs periodic cleaning when the engine Codes a 401-Insufficient EGR flow. It is not a Solenoid or EGR valve failure.

This model car was used for Taxi and Police service. Some of the parts on the stock models are a little heavier as Ford did not want to go to the cost of making 2 lines of parts for the same car. Good Luck with your car, I enjoyed mine.

sounds like the wiper regulator fell off the motor or the wiper motor is bad. if you can hear the motor outise the truck then the regulator fell off the motor. if there's no noise, then the motor may have died or it may have become disconnected.

The wiper motor my be bad. Turn on the switch and unplug the wiper motor and check the plug for power, if there is power, most likely the motor is bad.

Replace window regulator and motor. Procedure: Remove inside door panel, cut regulator wires, raise window manually and hold in place, undo bolts holding window glass to regulator, undo bolts holding regulator to door-frame, remove regulator. Reverse to install.

i had the same problem with my ford the window frame is connected with eighter a clamp frame direct onto the window it may be rusted trough or as in a ford windstar the window frame is connected with a bolt M6 wich has come lose and fall down succes with the repair

You can get those at a good parts store but it's probably not the problem. If the fuse is blowing the current draw is too high or there is a short circuit, most likely the wiper motor is bad.
