Also turn on your ac see if the other one engages if not check fan relay fuse . Check and make sure second fan is plugged in firmly unplug check connection for corrosion plug it back check with ac on again sometimes simply unplug and plug back works if not I'd run a jumper for batt positive and negative and touch connection plug to fan to see if fan kicks on if so problem will be in the relay or wiring if fan doesn't kick on from jumper then fan motor went South time to change fan

Car won't start 2002 toyata ipsum nothing works apart from lights in side and head light's dash doesn't light up either ?? Any ideas

Start with the basics: Do you have all your fluids at normal levels? Does the engine turn over when you turn the key? Check the voltage on the car battery -- it should be between 12.8 - 14V without load, any lower and your battery may be too flat to start the car. That check engine light means the onboard computer does know something's up. Go get an OBD2 scanner and plug it in, read the code, and work from there.

If your engine is turning over, then the fuel isn't igniting for whatever reason. Check your battery, check your plugs, and check your fuel pump to make sure the engine is getting fuel.

When was it last serviced?
Does it run badly or is it smooth?
Does it overheat?
Does it misfire?
does it rev and then drop?
Does it switch off.

I would check your cooling fans. When you turn on the AC, it probably starts a second fan. Maybe the other one is not working?

My Toyota ipsum heats up there is a sound where the timing belt is its like a bearing id faulty can this be the cause of the heating ???

Tension pulley might be the notice but I don't think that would make it run hot..You changed the thermostat and said the water is circulating..If it's not leaking water I would check the Catalytic converter under car...When they start getting clogged up it will make your car run hot because the exhaust can't get out like it supposed to...You can also put a thermostat in that opens sooner

Both radiator fans on my 2002 Toyota Solara V6 run constantly

Check to see if the radiator fan relay has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Once you located the relay, (in the fuse box under the hood) Try swapping it out with another relay and see if the fans stop, if the fans stop working with the swapped relay, replace the relay. It's know for the relays when they go bad to stick and will have a close loop. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted, be glad to help you get your car running 100% again soon.
