What kind of code reader did you use ? Need one that can communicate with all modules on the vehicle . Changing a PCM / ECM from other vehicle ( don't care if it's matches your's ) still needs to be programmed . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop .
The odometer is calculated and stored electronically in the body control module (BCM). The BCM uses the vehicle speed information from the powertrain control module (PCM) to calculate the odometer. The odometer displays 'error' if an internal IPC memory failure is detected. The IPC stores a backup copy of the odometer value incase the IPC stops receiving a valid odometer value from the BCM
Could be the instrument cluster or a problem with the GMLAN serial data network . Do you know what that is ? It is a communication network for the control modules to share info. on . If info isn't getting to one module from another one it won't start .
The communication among control modules is performed through the GMLAN high speed serial data circuit and the GMLAN low speed serial data circuit. The modules that need real time communication are attached to the high speed GMLAN network. The body control module (BCM) is the gateway between the networks. The purpose of the gateway is to translate serial data messages between the GMLAN high speed buss and the GMLAN low speed buss. The gateway will interact with each network according to that network's transmission protocol. Refer to Body Control System Description and Operation for more information about the gateway.
Circuit Description
For ignition switch power modes refer to Body Control System Description and Operation . Once the ignition is placed in the Run/Crank position, the control circuit of the Run/Crank relay is grounded by the body control module (BCM). With the Run/Crank relay switch closed, battery positive voltage flows through it and on to the park/neutral position (PNP) switch. With the PNP switch in either the Park or Neutral position, battery positive voltage will flow to the Starter relay coil supply voltage input terminal of the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) and the coil side of the starter relay. Placing the ignition in the START position sends a message to the ECM/PCM requesting engine start. If the ECM/PCM has determined that the transmission is in Park or Neutral and theft is not active, it will ground the control circuit of the starter relay. Battery positive voltage will then flow through the switch side of the starter relay to the S terminal of the starter solenoid, cranking the engine. For remote vehicle start (RVS) information, refer to Keyless Entry System Description and Operation .
Power to many of this vehicle’s circuits are controlled by the module that is designated the power mode master (PMM). This vehicle’s PMM is the body control module (BCM). The PMM controls which power mode (Run, Accessory, Crank, Retained Accessory Power, or Off) is active.
Serial Data Power Mode Master
On vehicles that have several control modules connected by serial data circuits, one module is the power mode master (PMM). On this vehicle, the PMM is the body control module (BCM). The PMM receives 3 discrete ignition switch signals to differentiate which power mode will be sent over the Serial Data circuits. The 3-wire Ignition Switch table below illustrates the state of these inputs in correspondence to the ignition switch position:
I used a x tool scanner that can communicate with all the modules, even with the original ecu in the car nothing is working still no start no crank, not in theft mode i should add either
Any codes in any of the modules ?

SOURCE: remote start will not let car start
The remote start won't keep the car from starting.
If you have a check engine light on currently, that will not allow the remote start to function at all.
SOURCE: Pontiac G6 radio change problem
I had the same problem. You have to buy a bunch of extra parts and even then it probably still wont work. I ended up buying an aux input and hooking it up myself. It took 20 min and sounds great.

SOURCE: 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP window auto close/open
OMG. I replaced the battery in my 06 G6 and had the same problem. the windows would not roll up or down how they did before. I read the answers on here and it does work. Hold up the window switch for ten seconds and it resets. You will have to do it to each window. Worked great. Thanks

kind of need engine size why do people post this kind of question and omit such an important detail?
SOURCE: codes p0030 p0036 p0050 p0056
May be errant codes from losing power, erase them and see if they come back - [ I'm betting they won't.]
