A weak pump that can not provide proper volume and pressure may run at idle but stumble or die under loads or at higher speeds .

Remove the lugs at the battery. Clean the posts and the lugs - then reconnect. Your battery won't charge (and the jumpers won't work) largely because of a film on the + post and lug. If you live in a hot summer area, (Arizona) the problem is especially troublesome.

Could be a bad fuel injector, get a long screw driver put it on the injector and on your forehead listen for clicking with engine running, if no clicking with test light check for voltage at injector harness cylinder # 2 ( unplug harness from injector ) with engine running, if you have voltage, check other pin at same connector, connect test light to power at battery and check for pulsation ground at injector , test light should flash, if that check out ok, bad injector, if all check good do a cylinder compression test.

there can be electrical issues like lose wiring..check all the wiring.. there are not many reasons because of which a battery drains out..
