If your Dualis is fitted with the 2 litre engine it will be a Chain. You can do a basic check by looking at the belts and pulleys on the end of the engine. A chain engine will only have one belt with grooves on it running like train tracks around the belt.
Timing belts have grooves going across the belt. these hook into the cog teeth of the crank and cam pulleys.
While what you say is accurate, it's not very helpful. Most contemporary engines have a visible, single serpentine belt. But in most contemporary engines with a timing belt, the belt is not visible without removing a timing cover, and they still have a visible serpentine belt.
Yours should be the MR20DE engine which is a Chain setup. This is according to a few different sources.
The belt method is a just rough starting point to check before you need to start removing covers. Belt driven engines often have 2 pulleys down on the crank hinting that its a belt engine. Engines with chains are often totally enclosed with only one pulley on the crank. They often don't have the plastic timing covers fitted.
