The power steering bottle will have a rather big cap, and if you open the bottle you should notice it in an instance, because it is red in colour. Besides the power steering fluid, make sure that you dont have a belt missing on your pulleys. Some pwer steering pumps run on a separate belt. Just the fact that you said that the power steering suddenly went out, tells me that a belt could have snapped. Please let me know if you are sorted

there is a splice for fuel injectors at the front of the fuel rail conduit and electric tape will need to be removed to see if it is ok then clean up all engine grounds and ecm grounds on passenger side kick panel if this doesnt help check coils and crank sensor

yes it is the fuel pump sounds like you should replace it as the bushes are worn in the pump and will soon stop working
