2002 saab 9-3 hose came off and I don't know where it goes, my turbo gauge goes to redline and check engine light flashes if I accelerate fast. I would have to go slow and take foot off gas and then accelerate again. I found the hose on the back of the engine near the firewall please if anyone knows anything I would greatly appreciate it.

Check coolant level, and possibly replace thermostat. When a thermostat gets stuck in the closed position, coolant does not circulate thru motor. Gauge stays midrange when driving, because motor is being cooled by air and or the fan. If car seems to operate completely normal, then the gauge is faulty.

Water on any electrical part of the engine can cause problems. Even high humidity. The only parts you can easily check and dry out is the plug wires where they connect to the coils and any connections you can find where components are plugged into wiring a harness.

Take the car to a local auto parts place and they should be able to scan the computer and give you the code that triggered your check engine light. Most places will run this scan for free. Even if your Saab appears to be running fine it is prudent to have this checked to avoid a sudden break down. I hope this helps. Good luck.
