That sounds like a bad circut so you are going to need a service. Should cost between $50-$100 therefore you may want to consider replaceing it as the repair costs would be close to the replacement costs.

Here in U.K. fitted crystal would cost you £15-£20. Crystal only you can find on ebay for as low as £1-£3, but you need to know exact size.

mcdevito75 here, You:d need a couple of watch tools to change the battery, the cost of these tools and the cost of a watch repair shop to change the battery for you are similar. Look for a small watch repair shop in your area to save on the cost of replaceing the battery.

Well if its glass you cant polish out the scratches! If that is a real Cartier watch then you need to send back to Cartier for that job. You can take it to an authorized retailer but they are going to mark the cost WAY up!!!!

Depending what all is involved with the overhaul and other repairs the low end for repair would cost around $375 and may cost as much as $600. Anytime I send a watch in for this kind of repair I expect a free estimate and you should too. If there is a cost for an estimate or if the estimate is around the $600 mark I realy feel you should get a 2nd detailed estimate from a different jewelry store/ repair center.

It shouldn't cost much to repair if the crown and stem are intact. Take it to a watch repairer.

I've paid $250 - $450 for my Rolex about every ten years.  The Ebel is another fine watch, and should cost about the same.  They come back looking like new.
