Question about Buick Cars & Trucks

I hit a curb and have misfire of 2468 in my 07 Buick Lucerne CXL v8 4.6L. Please read details below. Can anyone help?

Back story... I drive a 2007 Buick Lucerne v8 4.6L.. I was going about 40 MPG and hit a dip in the road. My front end of the car hit super hard and my back end as well. It now sounds like a diesel engine, does not go over 25MPH, the car shuts off when I turn the wheel all the way to either side. I did get a diagnostic reading at AutoZone which says my cylinder 2,4,6,8 is misfiring. I have replaced my MAP sensor and my spark plugs; however, the issue is not resolved. I am asking if this has happened to anyone before and what the resolution was in fixing the issue. Can anyone please help me?

If all the even numbered cylinders are a problem it looks like you've done something to one whole side of the engine. Mis-firing is likely to be 2 possible causes. No spark or no fuel. If you've bottomed out the vehicle you could have knocked an engine sensor off, damaged one or more coil packs, damaged a fuel line or an injector. Were there any other codes when you got the diagnostic?

I suggest you begin by getting underneath and repairing the obvious damage to the exhaust system and anything else - should have done this straight away in case safety related damage had been done.

Once the underside is like the manufacturer would like it to be - then start worrying about the engine compartment.

Your own description says it now sounds like a diesel and so the obvious conclusion was to suspect the exhaust especially as if it has twin CATs a physical impact could break up the monolith and block that side of the exhaust, knocking out that bank of cylinders.

The result could be quite a lot of banging through the intake. An alternative source of a diesel noise would be a reduced oil flow caused by the bottom of the oil pan being pushed upwards by an impact but this wouldn't explain the misfire.

With a heavy grounding, the engine would move an unnaturally long distance on it's rubber mounts and it is possible that could have damaged some of the engine wiring harness and it is conceivable it has killed the spark or injection but this wouldn't explain the "diesel" noise or such a serious loss of power that turning full lock would stop the engine.

update. I did change cyl 2 into cyl 1 and the misfiring is still happening in 2468. spark plugs an MAP sensor have also been changed. I have checked the exhaust and o2 sensors fuel pump literally everything and i cannot find where the problem is. Any ideas on where to look next?

The cause of the misfire is concerning me less than your description "it sounds like a diesel".
Has the cause of the unusual noise revealed itself yet?
You have had the exhaust disconnected and discovered that bank is breathing ok and presumably satisfied yourself there are no mechanical problems - the cylinders all have good compression, etc., so what is left; fuel or spark or both...
You can check for pulses to the injectors with noid lights or an oscilloscope or a good scanner. I note you replaced the spark plugs but did you check the spark as part of the process?

You might want to take it to the dealership....You won't believe me, but you have to remove the front bumper cover, then you have to remove the headlight capsule to get to the bulbs.

I need to see the order of the cylinders to replace the ignition coils in a 2006 buick lucerne v8

The 4.6 engine should be the same as Cadillac, so the odd cylinders are next to the windshield. Number 3 would be second from the passenger side.
