Hello I have a major problem. I have a 2001 toyota solara se convertible V6.
I recently changed my alternator out and the belt started squealing so I was tightening a bolt and didn't realize that the rubber booting the alternator was.not covering the terminal and I touched the terminal with my ratchet now I have no right headlight no power to my windows, convertible top tail lights, directionals, bake lights, dash lights and my power seat doesn't work but my hazard lights work.
Can you tell me what I did and can I fix it.

should only need oil change till 90k then depending on whether it is a4 or 6 cylinder you will be due for a major srv and if v6 a timing belt hope this helps please rate
the squeel is most likely the pulleys are contaminated with old rubber from the old belts or that you have a dry alternator bearing,if you try running the engine without the belt you will locate the problem easier.
the timing belt should be changed every 60k or 5 years whichever soonest...
It sounds to me like its a loose compressor belt that gets hot and stops, have it tightened or replaced if its old and brittle. could also be the compressor going bad,
