SOURCE: can you replace just the nut on the pump side of

No you must replace the complete line unless you go to a hydraulic line repair shop they may be able to rebuild the line with a new nut. You may consider a thread file if its the threads that are damaged. I have had great results with a thread file.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: How do you change out a heater hose elbow in a

If you are talking about the 90 degree plastic elbow coming from the belt tensioner housing.......first loosen the belt and take it off ( remember the routing on it) and then remove the two little nuts holding the coolant overflow bottle ( you don't have to disconnect the hose....just set it over to the side so you will have room to work). Next remove the bolts holding the alternator and set it to the side. Now the fun part. remove the 4 bolts holding the belt tensioner housing to the block. Once those are out you can pull the assembly forward and the elbows should come with it. The elbows are held in by o-rings and should just pull out. remember to replace both of the 90 degree elbows at the same time ( might as well so you don't have to do it all over again). Assembly is just the reverse of the above. FYI these elbows break so often that you can now buy replacement ones made of metal at www.rockauto.com and they are only $4 more than the plastic ones. I replaced these 5 times before I'd had enough and went searching. Seems that this piece of plastic breaks quite frequently when the vehicle hits a dip at speed.Hope this helps.

Where is the high pressure hose connected on the power steering pump of a 1995 buick riviera 3.8 supercharged

If it’s the high pressure side then it will have metal connections on both ends. The rubber hose is the low pressure side. Follow the hose with the metal ends and you’ll find your answer

One high beam not working 2006 Buick lacrosse

Sampson, sounds like a bunt out bulb, which will need changed.
If you feel comfortable doing it yourself. Basically three screws, and you have to pull one plastic fastener from the fascia (bumper) and pull the bumper back a bit, and pull the assembly out. I believe it is in the manual, not bad to do. I will post a link to tell or show you how to do it. Press the helpful button

I own a 2005buick lacrosse I was driving in snow and I was doing donuts (don't ask) now my steering wheel is extremely hard to turn, what could it be and is it easily fixable"

putting all the variables together( splashed up snow, high rpms, quick actions of the steering wheel requiring constant pump pressure and the sudden loss of power assist) I would suspect that the power steering belt is loose or missing or needs replacing

Power steering makes high whining noise I had the fluid changed and it did not help the situation. what is next

Change the power steering pump if it bothers you a lot. Otherwise, if power steering performance is ok, and you only notice a whining noise, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Power steering leak at pump

These pumps are known to blown out the front shaft seal. But your problem is at the high pressure line. Remove the line and buy a new teflon seal or o-ring. Don't over-tighten!! The torque specs on these are pretty low and most people overtighten and crack the seal.
