Will a 04 4.2 engine out of a Buick Raineer work in my 06'Trailblazer what had a 4.2 engine in it?

Check engine light comes on when the computer detects a malfunction in the emision control system, could be a loose or broken vacumm line, loose gas cap or a sensor.

Other model Chevy base V-6 3400 located next to oil filter on the front side of engine just above engine cradle frame this one uses a shorter sensor can be replace with a standard socket. 1 1/16 also
