try changing the flywheel sensors. My 86 had exact the same problem, i changed the spark plugs, wires, distributor and finally the good o alfa mechanic found the issue. good luck

IIRC......Remove seat.

Remove rear seat cover by sliding down after removing Phillips screws at bottom.

Inside you will see bolts holding seat head rests to seat.

Under seat are Hog Rings holding seat cover to frame.

Not possible to answer this directly since each radio can be different. If you can manage to remove the radio you will find the serial number and the manufacturer on the back plate. Take a note of these then on your computer search engine type - Car Radio Codes, there are several web sites which will send you your code on line once you give them the radio details you have just written down.
