Peugeot 307 Rear doors will not unlock and will not open from the inside

leave ign off with key out 3mins disconnet battery 5 mins reconnett and press lock/ unlock repeatedly until locks cycle through to re sync try this any probs come back to me

this is quite common on the earlier 307

Try pushing against the door while lifting the handle then pull it hard. they stick on the 307 because the latches dont alaign properly, if that does not cure it try locking and unlocking the car's central locking repeatedly, while still trying to open the door.

If that does not fix it then you will need to remove the door card/door trim. It sounds like either the mechanisim has failed or the rod which connects the mechanism has came off, this can be a tricky job as normally you would have the door open to remove the door trim. you may not get the trim all the way off you might have to put your hand on the inside of the door and unlock it, try pulling each rod gently, and feel around where the latch is try and free it.

Like I say theres no easy fix for this fault, it may take you some time to get the door open.

peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337

but did you buy it new? if yes you need to go to a peugeot dealer to have programmed, if not and broken you have to replace it if you want to be sure disconect the cable from power steering motor and you will find all full of oil ciao
