SOURCE: knock sensor dont work for 2005 dodge durango

this problem is very seldom the knock sensor, it can be the harness connector at the sensor or the engine has excessive knock which will set a code, u did not mention the particular code so hard to say, the location of the knock sensor is the lower section of the engine block, it is screwed into what would normally be a block drain plug, if u replace it u need to torque it to whatever the factory spec is or it can cause it throw another code..

SOURCE: location of radiator tank drain 2005 dodge caravan

The drain is located on the passenger side of the radiator at the bottom. Turn it counterclockwise to open. It is plastic so be careful if you decide to use tools to turn.

Weres the knock sensor locatedon a 2002 dodge caravan

ok you did not say what size engine but a knock sensor is not use on the 3.0 v6 engine, the knock sensor is mounted on the side of the engine block and detects a knock in any cylinder during combustion it sends a signal to the pcm, then the pcm retards the ignition timing

2001 dodge caravan 3,3L

I was working for a company that used 1995 Caravan's for their sales force and I do not know of any sensor. I am confused by the term "cover".

Do you mean valve cover? If so does the sensor go somewhere? I can solve your problem, but I need move info. Please call or email me.

Either, way let me know the outcome. Your feed back is my only reward. Also, please rank my answer with as many thumbs as you think I should get.
