I have a 1995 Chrysler Concorde and it's not outfitted with a diagnostic port but I was able to retrieve the check engine light manually... I was wondering if anybody out there knows what code 32 stands for? I'm pretty sure that it has something to do with the thermostat or a clogged valve or hose that pertains to the car getting hot quickly.

SOURCE: I have a 2000 chrysler concorde that the engine light just popped on - the error codes are po302, po420, po340

P0302-cylinder #2 misfire detected
P0420- catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1
P0340-No cam signal at PCM.
The Cam sensor most likely needs to be replaced first. Clear the codes after that and drive and see what comes back on.

SOURCE: i need to know how to manually retrieve dtc codes

I'am not sure if you can retrive the codes without a scanner on cars 95 and up, but if you can hears how to do it, get a paper clip unfold it so you have 2 strate ends , take 1 end plug it in the last port to the right and the other end in the port next to it and turn the key to the on position, chk. engine light will come on and start to blink, if not keep moving the last one you pluged in to the next one and so on until it does, than you simply count the blinks, for example 1 blink than a paus then 2 blinks right together that would be a 12. but remember unless you got a book to desifer the codes it just as easy to take it to auto zone or any auto parts store and have it scaned for free.

SOURCE: CHRYSLER CONCORDE WITH DIAGNOSTIC CODES P1768 AND P1792

P1768 MEAN TRANSMISSION RELAY ALWAYS OFF..WAS UNABLE TO FIND P1792..IF PROBLEM STARTED AFTER HEADS WERE DONE..LOOK CLOSELY AT AT ENGINE MAIN WIRING CONNECTORS AND GROUND CONNECTIONS THAT ARE ON ENGINE..LOOK FOR GROUND EYELETS NOT SECURED OR LOOSE..LOOK FOR ANY PINCHED WIRING AS WELL..MAKE SURE NO SPREAD TERMINALS IN CONNECTORS AS WELL..YOU CAN ALSO TRY SWAPPING ANOTHER RELAY IN PLACE OF TRANS CONTROL RELAY..MAKE SURE PART NUMBERS MATCH UP..
TCM(NGC)PIN 16 IS TRS T3 SENSE CIRCUIT..PIN 17 IS NOT USED...HAS TO DO WITH TRANS RANGE SENSOR..I DON'T THINK THIS CAUSING YOUR PROBLEM..

SOURCE: 1994 dodge caravan check engine light comes on

These are all the definitions for your codes.
It's hard to give an exact cause for these codes because of there are a number of different items that could cause these.
The first one could be caused by Incorrect camshaft timing,
VCT solenoid valve stuck open or continuous oil flow to piston chamber,
Camshaft advance mechanism binding, or faulty VCT unit,
The others are most likely bad sensors.
I wish I could be more help but it's difficult to trouble shoot this kind of problem without having the vehicle here in front of me.
Good luck

P0012 "A" Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded (Bank 1)

P0032 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0055 HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 1, Sensor 3)

SOURCE: 1995 Chrysler Cirrus overheating

Probably not water pump. Engine is notourious for vapour lock.
Cooling system must be blead of air before thermostat will work. Cool bottom rad hose is a dead give away. If you are still watching this forum reply , and I will walk you through the only way I know how to make it work properly. It's actually easy if you do it my way. I have worked on lots of cars , and this engine was the hardest to bleed out. Did one Yesterday , and works perfect.

Why won't my car start?

Run diagnostics on the "old car". You can still access possible trouble codes through the key switch, and have 2 digit trouble codes flash out from the check engine light. Here, for the procedure: http://www.2carpros.com/articles/retrieve-trouble-codes-for-chrysler-dodge-plymouth-odb1-1995-and-earlier-car-mini-van-and-light-trucks

Beyond that, it is basic diagnostics. Check fuel pressure, check for gas and spark at the cylinders. Test the fuel injection circuit.Test the ignition coil. Test sensors for proper operation. A mechanic with a multi-meter can do a ton of diagnostics. I don't get it, does your mechanic only work on new cars?.

Hello ! my 1999 chrysler concorde shows (check

You need to have the codes read to determine what is wrong. Bring it to a parts store, this is a free service. They will plug a hand held scan tool into the cars diagnostic port (under the dash), and 'read' codes stored on the cars computer. They can tell you what the code(s) mean, and suggest how to fix the problem. If you have any questions after that, post the codes and questions (and engine size) here.

disconnect the positive terminal of the battery for 2 minutes then put it back it should clear it
but if the computer detects a problem it will come back on and you should have it put on a computer diagnostic machine to correct the fault codes

What is a engine code 55??

Here is an exact quote from Chrysler, hope it helps. Good luck.
"Code 55 indicates end of codes. If you are retrieving codes, code 55 will indicated that you have reached the end of the code list. Code 55 will always be reported regardless of if there is another code to report or not. If you don’t receive a code 55 when retrieving codes, the power limited light may be burned out (or you may not have done the code checking procedure correctly."
