I have a 2002 Honda oddyssey exl and I just replaced my radiator and the fan with the metal housing. When should the fans come on in cold weather?

fans only operate when the coolant temp exceeds the preset temp setting
the engine runs and warms the coolant and eventually the thermostat opens
coolant flows and in really cold weather the air around the radiator ( especially if moving) will keep the coolant sufficiently cool so that the fans will not activate
The fans may switch on if it is left idling for a period of time as there will be no air flow from a moving vehicle

I have a 1995 gmc sierra c1500 and the radio in it stopped working. The last time I drove the truck it worked perfectly fine then somebody left my key turned so my battery died. I recharged the battery...

You also have a fuse in the fuse box that is for the radio is the radio the only thing that is not working because sometimes there are more than one fuse that controls the radio

Heat doesnt work in my jeep cherokee when driving but when sitting heat works

Put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator. Only if it's cold out though, Usually in really cold weather, the cooling affect of the cold air circulating around the radiator keeps the fluid from getting hot enough to produce heat unless your running in park.

My 2007 GMC Yukon will not start in cold weather. When I turn the key over the lights/dash controls come on, but the engine does not turn over at all. Nothing. Put a new battery in and still does it. It is a random occurance. Would not start for two days this week so I had it towed to the dealership and the next morning it starts without the service dept doing anything??? Bring it home and two days later it does it again??? Any ideas?

Replaced wires & spark plugs and changed the antifreeze. now the heater stopped working. any ideas , no one seems to be able to figure it out. someone suggested that to much antifreeze was put in and...

its probably just an air pocket in the cooling system,
recheck the coolant level in the radiator after the engine is cold,and also the overflow bottle,one good road test will bring it back around,

HI, my renault clio radio and clock display are dead

Hi All, the very same thing happened to me. Cold weather broke my radio and the display screen stayed on with the time and temperature but the radio wouldn't work. I rang Renault & they said I need to come in an get a new radio but I put it off. In the end the problem started affecting my battery and the car wouldn't start. But then when I jump started it, it also started the radio again perfectly. Problem solved!

try double clamping it put on 2 clamps instead of just one and see if that wont help

hi..try to check your radiator,should be anti freeze coolant,and also check your engine oil try to buy oil suitable for cold environment...one thing more try to ask what kind of gas can go with cold weathers..
hope my ideas can help..
