Question about 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Vehicle crank but no start /No Gauges
No crank signal/ no spark -- replaced coil/ crank sensor.
No Injector pulse signal at injector -- have cam sensor output signal.
Scan tool no communication -- all fuses good/ power and grounds to DLC good
Tried manual scan (key on, off sequence) -- no lights flash
Tried unplugging sensors(cam/ crank/ coolant temp/ Coil/ ABS/ Trottle Position/ MAP/ IAC/ a/c Pressure/ Ambiant air Temp/ Injectors -- Gauges did not return.
Replaced -- Plugs/ Wires/ Cap/ Rotor/ Pickup(cam sesor under distributor)/ Coil/ Crank Sensor
Please Help starting to get pricy
I would be thinking that there is a good chance that you need to be checking out replacing the computer, if you aren't getting any communication with the proper scan tool then the computer isn't communicating with anything in the vehicle...... I would have guessed first off that the ignition control module might be bad but that is obviously part of the computer also, I would be looking in that direction.
