SOURCE: How would i fix blinker switch. 88 c1500

Looks like the switch is bad, they are plastic and after time the brass contacts "sink" into the plastic. Have to pull the wheel and the lock plate but only about an hour job.

Both blinkers just stopped working, is it a relay issue or another part?

Since both went out, it's probably time for a new flasher. It will plug in just like a relay.

Why won't the blinkers blink.

i expect the flashing relay has stopped working , do they work on the four way switch ? if they do then its likely the indicator switch , if they don't then replace the relay, located in the fuse box lid/cover should give list of relays

How do you change the flasher on a 97 eighty eight oldsmobile

The flasher should be behind the radio or the glove compartment. You can check your owners manual for the exact location.
The flasher on the fuse box is usually for the hazard flashers.

1997 oldsmobile 88 Cuts off while driving at any given time but starts right back up.

You need to have the GM dealer perform a scan of the systems memory, it will have a fault code that will lead the tech to the cause of this stalling which may be the CKP sensor.

My horn does not work on my 1997 88 ls oldsmobile but does work with remote

You probably have a loose wire. Check the wiring harness and make sure nothing is unhooked.

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Left Blinker Stopped working. No internal feedback (the green flashing errors for left don't turn on in the dash) Using hazards, only the right side flashed.

most common problem is a burned out bulb. i would check that first. If it still doens't work, and you have gone outside of the vehicle and can see that the turn light is flashing, then the light dash is probably burned out...kinda confused about your description, but i hope that this helps, good luck

How do i get to the blinker bulb on the 97 olds 88ls in the fron?

To change the blinker or headlight bulb on an 1997 Oldsmobile 88: Open the hood, remove the plastic cover thing so that you can see the housing for the light. On the back side of the housing there are three clips, remove those (I was able to remove them with just my fingers). Once the clips are removed the whole headlight slides out the front of the car. Now you can easily replace any of the blown bulbs.
