Unusual. Normally, the instrument panel (IP) gets information from vehicle computers (such as the ECM) and displays it. Your problem suggests that a component in the ECM or IP is overheating and failing, which then goes away after it cools down. However, this may also be a wiring/connector problem between the two devices.

The 2001 Chrysler and Dodge minivan's are plagued with wiring issues, specifically in the brake system where it was redesigned, rerouted, and re-engineered SEVERAL times.

You have a wiring issue (likely wire chaffing in the under carriage).

SOURCE: Gauges don't work-before went out abs light would come on

it might be a fuse under the hood or fuse panel or connection to the gauges them selves

SOURCE: Speedometer, RPM, ABS, and Brake light

It's not the fuse. You need to jump start the diagnostic cable. First you need a battery of 9v and short the + and - terminal to the diagnostic cable. Then you will see smoke. After that it should work fine.

Does your speedometer work ok? There is a sensor on top of your rear differential that provides a signal to both the abs and the computer(speedometer uses the signal from the computer) This sensor goes out pretty common.

High temp low oil pressure light comes on after driving for a few minutes, then off when engine at driving rpm. At stop light (idle or low rpm) light comes back on. Normal driving it goes out.

You need to find out why you have low oil pressure. It is normal that as engine rpm's increase, the oil pressure will rise- the oil pump is moving oil faster. Even though your light goes out, you could still have critically low oil pressure. There should be sufficient pressure at idle to keep the light off. The light will come on when your oil pressure is almost nil- I believe for some it's as low as 8 psi. Normally, oil pressure at idle is specified anywhere from 15 to 40 psi. You would have to check specifications for your Expedition. To verify oil pressure, hook up a mechanical gauge at the oil pressure sending unit on the engine block. Check with a local shop.

The causes run from easy, simple to budget busting ruin. Low oil level, wrong grade oil, real old oil, oil leaks, internal oil leaks, worn oil pump, worn crankshaft bearings. It was pretty common on older very high mileage cars to have a fluttering oil light at stops and idle. It was time for a rebuild, or time to look for another car.

Why are abs, oil, brake lights coming on, speedometer stops working, ac stopped cooling?

That's still under warranty, is it not? Take it to the dealer - let the manufacturer pay for the fix.

On 2 separate occasions in the last month while I was driving my car suddenly starts violently shaking like I'm driving over a washboard. It lasts for about 10-15 seconds, goes away for about 10-15...

ok your problem is with the wheel the wheel speed sensor is reading a different speed prolly 1-2 mph difference so the dump valve in the abs is triggering i would change that wheel fast or youll be putting brake pads/shoes on that side very quickly. once you change the wheel pull the abs fuses or battery cable for 5 minutes then you should be good to go.as far as the spongyness pedal it will go away soon as the wheel is changed. if you still have the abs and brake light on you will need to pull some codes for us to help you some more.you 15" wheel is spinning faster then the 16" wheel the faster you go the bigger the difference will be between the 2.hope to hear good new back from ya.

No rpm and oil \ brake ,abs lights on ,some time

Im been having same problem. So far it since to be ABS Module. I will recommend to have reading of ABS with a code reader with abs reader. regular code reader wont work. In my case i need to replace ABS module, but maybe in your case could be a wheel sensor, a cable, rotor, etc. If you need an abs module best thing to do fix it with http://www.modulemaster.com/en/services/abs.php. dealer price is $1400 and so it's either dealer, junker (EOM PART USED) or repair.
Good luck!

Oil light and brake lights blinks on and off and abs light is on

Just a idea. If the car is running at idle and the oil light blinks , it usually from low oil pressure. At a idle your seeing the light respond to the revolutions of the engine. ! thing to try is to replace the oil pressure switch on the engine block. And #2, Most causes in a VW is that the vehicle overheated at one time and weekend the oil pump,or massive amount of miles.
