Have you checked fuses both inside the car and the ones in the engine compartment? If so most likely it is a faulty connection on the back of the instrument panel!

My temp gauge and fuel quit working

This is pretty common on the 2005 Mustangs, it's caused by failing stepper motors in the instrument cluster, they control the movement of the gauges. Repair is around $180 and there's a guide on how to fix them yourself here - 2005 Mustang speedometer problem

My temp gauge stopped working, how can I figure

it is most likly a burnt out fuse, or the whole instrument cluster is shot. that happened to my 2002 impala. all gauges froze, and nothing worked. I would check the fuse first before replacing the entire cluster. Best of luck

Gauges on 2005 ford mustang not working

If you can solder or know someone who can this is an easy fix. 1st the problem...The Mustang gauges are small DC motors, the motors are going bad. I just completed this on my wifes 2005 Mustang. Go to Ebay and do a search for Mustang stepper motors. They will run you about $8 each. do them all while the cluster is out.I used David Ruberg (www.speedometerrepairguy.com). Pull of the housing around the inst. cluster, take 4 screws out that hold the cluster in place. pop off the connector, take it into the house and solder in the motors. David includes instructions with the order. It took me about 2 hours total.

My RPM gage on my mustang saleen isn t working

the tach uses the same fuse as the other gauges, so if the other gauges have no problem then the tach is defective, Ford does not really repair these we just replace them.

2005 v6 instrument cluster problems

mustangs of your year are known for having defective stepper motors installed in the gauge cluster. Having someone replace the bad motor with the newer p/n motor should be a lot cheaper than replacing your cluster at the dealership.
