My thoughts. Make sure battery has a full charge?Cables/connections all good? Have helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure? Check fuel injector pulse? Any applicable trouble codes? Those are the basic checks, in my opinion. Just to add, if you have the spider fuel system, that system is noted for problems.

SOURCE: Where is the oil pressure sensor / sending unit on

It is at the very top rear of the engine behind the intake to the right of the distributor on a thin lip of metal of the engine block.

SOURCE: 2002 gmc sierra won't start, security light came on

The security light is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterperates this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. Remember too, the TDM controls the security light. Sometimes you can have ALL the symptoms and no lights.

k, not cranking, is the battery good, if yes you could try to jump the starter and see if it cranks, if not you could pull it and have it tested. If the starter is good, might be the ignition switch.

Truck getting too much gas. 94 GMC Sonoma. V6 engine. Black smoke out exaust. Plugs keep fouling out. I Changed everything fuel related plus computer under dash board. Truck not starting now. HELP.

Did you check sensors such as crank senors? cam sensor? knock sensor? or mass air flow? Could all be causing it to get to much fuel. Just had same problem on 1997 Chevy Lumina
