SOURCE: 1995 Dodge Dakota Pick up

go to Didgeforums.com.

I had a similiar problem, found the solution there. It was the wiring harnes on the drivers side under the hood, just above the wheel well. there are a cluster of wires in a bundle. I unpacked the bundle carefuly and sure enough the were two or three wires all coroded, had wite powder from corosion. repaired the connections and bingo. I posted details at dodgeforums.com. browse around there. I posted pictures as well. this is a common problem.

SOURCE: Need to replace dash pad on 1996 Dodge Ram 1500.

You have to feel and look with a flash light for all the bolts that hold the dash in place,at the same time move and disconnect wire harnesses. Then you can take it out.

Need vacuum system diagram for 1992 mercedes 300e

Big breather from valve cover to air cleaner, the small vac line runs from there to the FPR.

These next are standing in front of the car:

Intake manifold lower outer runs to EZL

Intake manifold lower inner (right side) goes to switchover vac valve on driver fender. The other side of this vac valve goes to the throttle body

Intake manifold lower inner (left side) goes to switchover vac valves on passenger side fender. These then go back to the EGR valve once making a loop under the distributor cap for whatever reason.

Intake manifold rear runs to a 'three' way valve (or 'Y' connector) on the secondary firewall. This is usually a vac leak.

Where is the knock sensor

On a 4.8L 5.3L and 6.0L there are 2 Knock sensors. they are under the Intake manifold. The Intake Manifold has to be removed to replace either or both of the Knock sensors. The Knock sensors on this motor thread into the top of the Engine
On a 4.3L the Knock sensor is at the rear of the engine on the drivers side next to and under the Distributor. It it held on to the engine by a bolt that runs through the middle of the Knock sensor.

Where is the starter

It is under the distributor on the passenger side, If you are looking at he distributor standing next to the passenger side fender it is slightly left and down about 7". There are two bolts that hold it in place and you should remove the entire intake system to make it easier to see. Just remember to disconnect the battery before you do anything........ Also check to make sure oyu have the code for the radio before you try this or you will be on the phone for a half hour before your radio works again.
