1995 Chevy Blazer S/10 LT. engine was

1995 Chevy Blazer S/10 LT. engine was spitting/spatting. We replaced the spider injector unit. Now, when in idle state runs ok and in reverse it runs smooth. However, when in drive, it spits and spats and has no power. We found an unconnected (thick red wire) up by the back top left-hand corner (driver side) under hood, which might leed to the transmission. Can this be the drive power wire and if so, what does it connect to under the hood?

Should hook up to junction block on the fire wall near brake booster . Should be 4 all together , these are main power supply's for the vehicle ,two power the ignition switch .This is not a direct feed to the transmission . Enter vehicle info. year,make ,model and engine . Under system click on electrical distribution then under subsystem click on power distribution . Then click the search button ,then click the blue link .

I know this is an old post, but I am aware that a lot of people have similar problems.
I am having a misfire problem myself. I found that my head gasket had been leaking and the engine coolant had corroded my valve seats.
If you have this problem the two best things for you to start with is a compression test on the cylinders and a fuel pressure test. This is assuming you have had a tune up.

Air filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, injector/s, plugs and wires, cap and rotor. This is what you would call a complete tune up.

I had a 2000 chevy Blazer that had the same problem. I ended up replacing the spider injectors from the local parts house and solved my problem. The computer was sending to open them but they didnt in which it wouldnt run. Hope that helps.

some call the ''SPIDER' but what it is tube from the fuel meter body and it is under intake.it consist of fuel injector hold downplate,nuts,fuel injectors,poppet nozzles(tubes),fuel meter body,fuel pressure regulator,o-ring,filter screen.

Know if my 95 chevy blazer has a spider CPI?

A spider injector is located underneath the intake plenum and this is multi-port. Otherwise you have a throttle body injector system. Vortec engines have spider injectors and they are super expensive to replace ($400.00- 850.00) each ! There is only one spider injector for each engine it has 6 legs/fuel tubes that go to each cylinder.

No fire on passenger side new spider injectors new tuneup

I suspect that your CPFI unit has plugged injectors,the CPFI is Central Port Fuel Injection and is located inside the upper intake manifold,we call it a turantula because it looks like a spider,it houses the injectors or what is called poppets on this sys,they have problems with becoming plugged with carbon and causing a missfire,you can attempt to clean them but that usually does not work and is best to have it replaced,it is an expensive unit and GM has updated to a better system for replacment. I've also know of a few fire in the manifold that messed up the poppets. 
Check the wireing harness to the injector first, may have gone lose, and try to get it scaned. Could be something simple.
