It will run for a period of time when a defrost mode is selected. Suggest you try a heat mode other than defrost and see if it stops.

Possible cycling switch on the receiver drier is locked telling the compressor to stay on and also Carl's answer mihjt be correct here if you have it set that way the a/c compressor is getting the signal from the cycling switch but if you don't have it on defrost the cycling switch is locked and just unscrew it and replace it or the wires can be grounding out check for torn insulation on them

Will a 4L60E out of a 93 chevy silverado heavy half 4x4 work in a 96 chevy 1500 suburban 4x4?

there are a few differences in 96 there is a range indicator switch which also works as a neutral safety switch mounted on the selector shaft. if the 93 tranny is original it wont have the bosses to mount that switch.

Truck runs for two seconds an shut down i changed fuel pump an filter and it still shuts down but it only stay running when i put gas down in the throttle body i had a 1996 chevy 1500 i was wondering can...

No, the fuel regulator from a 96 will not fit a 98. The 98 is a vortec and i believe the 96 is TBI. You are on the right track though, but the fuel regulator is attached to the fuel injector spider and is one unit inside the upper intake. It is relative easy to replace just takes some time.
