I couldn't find one, but a simple solution for your problem is when you see a grooved pulley, that means the belt goes over it, when it is smooth the belt goes under. Sometimes certain autoparts stores have the diagram you need. I can walk you through it if you need, don't despair it is alot simpler than you think. I really hope this helps. There are some sites like youtube that can probably show you or give you an idea. I am not familiar with this model, but if you follow what I told you it will be a breeze to figure out.

Your best bet will be to Google it. 1985 Ford Escort brake pedal diagram. It will likely be there.

Does not the sticker under hood show you this? Look on the fan shroud or even under the hood itself (on hood inner metal) there should be a belt/pulley diagram.
