Go to rockauto.Com and look up your vehicle and then the part in a/c and heating so you know what to look for then follow your heater hoses it should be between the firewall where the heater core is and the water pump or thermostat housing

Drain the radiator, replace the clamps & hose.refill the cooling system . top it off when running w the heat on. U might as well replace the upper hose, clamps, thermostat & gasket too just as a full cooling system maint. procedure. YES your gonna get dirty.

you have overheated the engine maybe thermostat or water pump fault

Could be the blower motor resister,it's located by blower motor,2 screws hold it on,easy to remove,click here to see part.

There are lots of things that can cause enginr overheating. It could be anything from cooling system leaks to inoperative engine cooling fans, a clooged radiator, blown cylinder head gaskets, or a defective water pump. The problem needs to be properly diagnosed before anyone can help you with repair instructions.

check to to see if the thermostat is not flowing by feeling the upper radiator hose and comparing it to the temp of the lower hose after the car has been running,if there is a noticeable difference between the two hoses then replace the thermostat, be sure that you don't put your hands in there with the engine running and make sure that the key is off also the electric fan will run wit out warning if the key is on.Also check the oil to see if any coolant has gotten in to it if it has it will look either milky white or a greenish color with a slight sweet smell.This will be a sign of a failed head gasket.One other thing look at the water pump to see if it might be leaking even slightly that will mean the water pump is failing or has failed,if all of this checks out then it could be just the temp sending unit.hope this helps.

Did you install a new thermostat and make sure to bleed all the air out of the system when you replaced the radiator? If you didn't, or installed a Stant thermostat, replace it with a FACTORY OEM thermostat. Make sure the cooling system is bled by opening your radiator cap (WHILE THE CAR IS OFF AND COLD), starting the car and running the heater. Add coolant to the radiator as the engine heats up, until is at normal operating temperature AND starts spitting coolant back out.
