If your differential has an inspection cover (usually an oval plate on the back with 8 or 10 bolts), remove it to drain the gear oil, then replace the cover and remove the filler plug and fill the differential until you can stick your pinky finger in the hole and touch the lube, it will be sufficiently full then.

I know this is an old item, but you really shouldnt comment on things you arent familiar with. The car in question has a drain plug and a filler plug on the diff. Its a trivial job to replace the diff oil and requires no dissassemby
