if NOT, the the battery is dead, or bad. (or discharged)
DOes jumper cables used, (donor car) crank engine now?
if it DOES, crank, and robustly, then Id bet the glow plugs are bad.
if not glow plugs, lack of FUEL , ever change the filters per schedule>?
