The amps on the digital display where the mileage per hour is.
This vehicle won't have an amp gauge but might have a volt meter. A battery should have about 13 to 14.5 volts present when the engine is running and the alternator is working properly. Fair warning: the gauges are notoriously inaccurate so the best way to check the charging system is at the battery terminals using a simple good old fashioned hand held voltmeter. A fully charged battery, with the engine off, has 12.6 volts. If you have only that amount of voltage or less with the engine running then you have a charging system issue.

Hello, the answer to solve this problem is to take it to your nearest chrysler dealer and have them re-flash the updates to the ecu....since 2004, chrysler has had about 4-5 new updates since the date they were manufactured....you need to have the update that followed from your date of man. on your vehicle....They attempted to flash mine to the latest update and didnt work, turns out that they need the re-flash from back when...in order to get the gauage to stop fluctuating.....Hope this helps!!

Locate the fuse box underneath the drivers side steering wheel and remove the fuse box cover lid. On the backside of this lid, you will find a diagram showing what each fuse controls. Locate the "instrument cluster" fuse and then pull it out and replace it with the same number fuse and your speedometer+fuel gauge will work again.
