Implausible Fuel Volume Signal Received

This usually points to a bad PCM (powertrain control module).

What U1411 code means?

U1411 Implausible Fuel Volume Signal ReceivedPossible Causes Setting Conditions
CAN 'C' Bus circuit is open or shorted to ground
Cluster module has failed
FCM has failed
PCM has failed
Key on or engine running; and the PCM determined that the Fuel Volume signal it received was implausible.
This code sets in 1 Trip(s).
This code will turn on the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) Vehicle Application: 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L, Vin N, Eng Cfg V8

Customer Concern: Has 11 codes. U0101, U110C, U0121, P0480, U1120, U0103, U1411, U110E, P000B, U0100, U0002. At this time there is a no crank condition.
Tests/Procedures: 1. Clear the codes and see what comes back. These are all communication codes.
2. Disconnect the modules one at a time when it is acting up and see when the communication comes back.
Potential Causes: Controller Area Network (CAN) C Module

Tech Tips: On this vehicle it turned out the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) which is on the Controller Area Network (CAN) B bus was actually causing the problem. It was also taking down the Controller Area Network (CAN) C bus at times. I hope this helps.

the dealer scan tool can find this. most others not.
make sure battery is fully charged, reset the DTC errors with any scan tool and see if it comes back.
if it comes back and battery is still charged, then its real.

Code u1411 jeep liberty 2006

wow , no engine options stated, or type of driveline.... wow.
this is covered in the FSM, read that.
it states
U1411-Implausible Fuel Volume Signal Received that means to get the car fully scanned,
using a real scan tool that sees all 2006, jeep DTC errors.
including BCM codes.
the manual tells you what to do.

here is just small expert from the Factory.serv.manual

quote
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)(Refer To List 1).
Theory of Operation
The BCM has to send the PCM a fuel volume signal over CAN C. The signal the BCM sends over CAN C is implausible.
Diagnostic Test
1. ACTIVE DTC
Ignition on, engine not running.
With a scan tool read DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
Yes
  • Go To 2
No
Refer To List: 2. CAN C BUS DTCS ALSO ACTIVE
With a scan tool check for DTCs in the BCM.
Are any CAN C related DTCs active at this time?
Yes
  • (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING) for the appropriate diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES/FRONT CONTROL MODULE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)
No
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
that word CAN , means the vehicle network communications buss called CAN.
if the PCM can not TALK to the BCM. this can cause the
data to be wrong. and the
Implausible , data.
greek ,huh,
get it serviced by any ASE shop in town or if desperate JEEP.

My 2002 jeep grand cherokee laredo wull not start shutdown 2 days ago checked all fuses but the ecu fuses don't know how to find them

According with your other quesions, the DTC P1491 code is actually radiator fan control relay circuit.
Soft reset if the battery disconnect would have erased the code; the first thing I would replace for that code (fan relay).
Additionally, its possible thta your THEFT system is activated, check owners manual to disarm. Check details here:
- Grand Cherokee fuses

- Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Hope this helps.

What does the code U1411 mean on my 2005 Jeep

This is usually an idicator that the heating element located inside the o2 sensor is defective, requiring an O2 sensor replacement. Other tests can be performed if this is not the exact cause, but are not able to be performed with out a scan tool. I would replace the O2 sensor at this point
Theory of Operation This diagnostic provides a continuous check of the O2 heater circuit during operation. The heater circuit is momentarily disabled to allow a resistance measurement to be taken to infer heater temperature. The current delivery to the heater is duty cycled to maintain a specific target temperature. The error from the target temperature is continuously monitored to assess heater performance.
