Location of a oil sending unit 1996 ford 3.8liter 6cly

if it's anything like the 8 cyl version it should be right up near the oil filter which is in the bottom front of the engine, just behind the radiator. Not sure though, the 8 cylinder is a mess to work on. I know where mine is only because it's leaking.

Location of auto trans dip stick on 91 Ford Tempo 4 cyl.

It's right next to the air filter and behind the radiator fan and to the right of the oil dipstick. The transmissions is black and the oils is yellow. If it's a manual, there's no dipstick there. If not check close to the forewall towards the back of the engine.

If you have the 3.0 L or 4.0 L V6 engine, the cam position sensor is located on the top rear of the engine. If you have the 2.3 L 4 cyl. engine, you will find it on the left front of the engine behind the oil pump pulley.
