There maybe a sticker in the engine compartment that shows the vacume line routing or you can go to a dealer and they can print one for you.

Where can I get a vacuum hose diagram for a 1977 oldsmobile cutlass supreme 350.

You should only have 1 vacuum hose that goes from the intake manifold into the evaporator core housing and thru the firewall. It should be easy to check for engine vacuum at the heater control head by taking the control head loose and pulling the vacuum manifold from the back of the switch with the engine running. You should get a very noticeable sucking noise from the manifold. The line that goes thru the firewall is a small 1/8" plastic line that gets brittle over time and is known to crack and break under the hood.

I need a diagram or location of the vacuum hoses on a 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.5

Hears the deal Chevy really dosn't use vacuum for engine control it is more important for the AT transmission shifting .
You have main lines 1 goes to the vacuum booster control unit for the power brakes another goes to the PCV valve and depending on what you have for small lines going to vacuum reservoirs
I would look at the MAP sensor Manifold absolute pressure .
All vacuum comes off the intake manifold its the draw of air the engine needs to run .If the Map is bad you will have A LOT of of problems with how that engine runs ,It plugs in to the intake manifold 3 wire about 75 dollars maybe slightly less its a good place to start .

What is the best way to diagoise heater control problems

Hi,
The best way is to trace that vacum line and see where it leads. If it has come off the intake manifold area then it will need to be refitted as it is a main vacum supply hose to other components.

Where is vacuum hose for cruise control 95 dodge dakota

On the 95 5.2 318 SLT it comes off the passenger side of the intake manifold around middle ways under the center section bellow the throttle body. From there the vacuum line goes through a one-way "in-line"directional valve. The valve has the black side to the vacuum port of the manifold. It there goes to a "T" fitting. One hose on the "T" goes to the driver side through the firewall to regulate air flow in the cab.The other side of the "T" goes to the air ball next to the cruise control servo on the firewall. This hollow ball stores 10" of vacuum to operate the vacuum diaphragm of the cruise control servo. Hopes this helps. Jimmy

I need a vacuum line diagram fo a 1996 Chevy Lumina, 3.1. One line that is not connected to anything, is located at the top of the engine.

Sorry I don't have the diagram, but I do have a diagram of the engine and component locations. Your vacuum system is fairly simple. You have a MAP sensor attached to the air cleaner. I have pasted a picture below. It has one electrical connector and one vacuum hose that goes to the intake manifold or the throttle body.
Behind the right headlight is your evap canister. This will have a hose or line running to the fuel tank. Then it will have another hose going to the purge valve. The purge valve should be close by and it has a connector plus another hose that goes to the intake manifold.
Then you have the PCV hose that goes from the PCV valve in the valve cover to the air cleaner or intake manifold. I think yours just has a hose from the air cleaner and the rest is internal.
There is one more vacuum hose, and that is the bog one that goes from the intake manifold (or throttle body--looks to me like there are a couple of vacuum ports on the back side of the throttle body, and there may be a "T" on one of the hoses) to the brake booster. It this one was off, the engine would not run, as the vacuum draw is large. Please let me know if you cannot figure it out from these instructions and provide a picture, if you can.

Selector knob won't chage from defrost, knob moves but won't chage function.

Probably a vacuum line. Most heater controls are ran by vacuum and their is one vacuum line that goes from the troddle body to the firewall on the passenger side of the car. Check for a broken hose.
