SOURCE: location of sparkplug on 2004 Honda Odyssey EX and replacement

the spark plugs are located under the coil packs they have one or two bolts holding each one in. you have six cylinder so there should be six coil packs three facing you when you pop hood and three more located towards the back. let me know if you have any other questions.

SOURCE: spark plugs

you really do not need a diagram to locate the spark plugs. If you can see the high tension wires (thick electrical wires) connected to the distributor and to the to of the engine, just follow it up to the top of the engine where you can pull it out. It should reveal a whole in which inside is the spark plug. If your engine has a cover on the top (made of hard plastic), you may have it removed to gain better access.

SOURCE: how to locate number one spark plug on a 1996 honda Accord 2.7 V6

yes, on the V engines, it can vary.
in school they say
"look from top of motor, see the cylinder that is more forward
that is on FWD car forward is to right, strut.
on is most forward on all V engines. that be #1"

login to alldata.com its all there, just look
or buy the fsm or
read these. (no v6 data , i think but is free)

sorry for so slow response.

not reading the book (FSM) invites huge errors. with all cam belts.
they are tricky , as a class.
its and interference engine and guessing can be tad expensive... BOOM

I need to know where the spark plugs and distributer cap is located on my 1998 Lexus es300

Hello, the Lexus 3.0 litre engine has no distributor or cap. There is an individual ignition coil on top of each spark plug, all of which are located on top of the engine. There may be a removeable trim cover over the engine making these harder to see untill you remove it for access.

My 1998 lexus 300rx will not start, the battery is good

You say it doesn't start. Does it turn over good, but won't fire? Does it click and not turn over? If it turns over good but won't actually start, you would need to check fuel pressure output from pump, check spark coming from distributor to plugs and the control module could be bad if there's no spark, as well as the coils. If it doesn't turn over, but clicks when you turn the key, you could have a bad starter.

1998 ES300 tune-up help

this gets a little tricky but it not that bad. the plugs in the front of the eng are pretty east just remove the eng cover, then the coil pack. U will need a spark plug socket and a extension to get the plugs out. now the rear plugs is where is gets tricky. pretty much the same, remove the coil packs held in by a 10mm bolt the not u have Way less room to fit ur tool in. I use a small 3/8 ratchet, 3" or smaller locking ext, and a swivle spark plug socket.
if u dont have the right tools getting to the rear plugs is next to impossible without removing the intake
