My 2006 pontiac g6 wont start due to the passenger airbag module getting wet once or is something else not letting the car start?

I think the passenger airbag module is not working right. The windshield leaks and it got wet one day. would that not let the car start?

SOURCE: engine light 2006 pontiac g6(reset)

first be sure that its the engine light and not the "service" light. the service light will usually illuminate if its time for an oil change. if its the service light ur owners manual should tell u how to reset it. if its ur engine light then try disconnecting ur positive battery cable for 1 minute. that should reset ur ecm and get rid of the engine light. if the engine light comes back on then have a diagnostic scan done to determine whats causing it. SOURCE: location of 2006 mazda 3 airbag module.

look under the cup holders in the center console - should be simple to take out once you lift the emergency brake handle up.

SOURCE: i noticed when it rains passenger side floor gets

I have seen some problems with water coming in through the cabin air filter. (Also known as passenger compartment air filter - see picture) Sometimes this is caused by a buildup of leaves and debris in the cowl area that causes water to overflow into the filter area. Sometimes this is caused by the filter not being installed correctly. I have even seen the water diverter that goes over the top of the filter get discarded by quick-lube "specialists". Anyway, these conditions will allow water to enter into the vehicle through the heater system. Many times I have seen the filter so badly damaged by water and debris that it ends up in the blower motor and stops it from running. This is where I would look for the problem first.

Have a 2006 Pontiac G6 I have changed the caliper and brakes on passenger side 3x it keeps tightening up and I can’t move car. What can be the problem?

There's a good chance the flexible brake hose on that side has collapsed on the inside so I would change it before looking at the brake module.

How to replace seat in a pontiac g6?

get a code reader and find out specifically what the problem is. It's definately not the module bacause the module is located in front of the center console. you might have gotten the wires wet.

2001 pontiac grand am air bag module reset

Yes!!! You can replace it yourself.(Dont let others fool you into paying extra or telling you otherwise.)
-This is for pontiac grand ams 1999-2005 only.
-There are no frontal airbag impact sensors nor are there belt tensioners.
-The SRS system consists of only the (driver airbag) ,(passanger airbag),and the (airbag control module) in 1999-2005 grand ams.

If you crash/wrecked and airbags deployed you will need.
-Driver and Passanger airbags
-Airbag control module

You can buy cheap airbags from a local junkyard any year from 1999-2005 will fit.
You can also find an airbag control module for cheap at your local junk yard BUT YOU MUST FIND ONE WITH THE SAME (PART NO.) AND (SERV NO.) AS THE ONE YOUR REPLACING.The (part no.) and (serv no.) should be at top left of airbag control module. However it does (Not) have to match numbers under barcode or the numbers at the far bottom right of airbag control module.

After you get both airbags and airbag module
-Disconnect car Battery
-Replace airbags
-Replace airbag module (under passanger seat)
-Double check all connections and connect battery.

Congradulations!Your airbags should be back online.

Notes: Two torx 35 head screws hold the driver airbag, access is through two holes behind steering column.
To remove passanger airbag you have to remove glovebox it uses (7mm)screws.After you remove you will see a pair of (10mm)screws holding airbag.
To remove airbag control module First remove passanger seat 2(15mm).Then after removing you will notice a raises area kinda like a vertical bump.Take a razor blade to your carpet and cut it to explose the module underneath.
The airbag module is held by three screws depending on the year of your car it varies. Most likely 3 (10mm).

I have a 2007 pontiac g6 the problem i'm having is when i'm driving and come to a stop at any speed the car starts to make a beeping sound and on the dash board seat belt air bag light up can you please...

sounds like the passenger classification sensor in the passenger seat is bad. depending on the mileage of your car this should still be under warranty take to a gm dealer and get it fixed for free. also when this happens look at the passenger airbag off light usually located of the rear view mirror of gm cars, if this light says "on" and no one is in the passenger seat that the sensor is definately bad or if you are a woman and have a heavy purse on the seat this will also cause this because the car thinks someone is sitting in the seat without a seatbelt on.
