Question about Opel Astra
Do those cylinders have good spark? Is compression ok? Is cam timing correct?

Hi did you do the engine overhaul yourself? if so I don't think you have any comeback, but, is a registered agent did the work, you should take it back and get them to rectify the problem at their expense as they are the agents for the Opel company in Germany. Incidentally, General Motors sold Opel and Peugeot, France bought it, so you may have a battle to get satisfaction. Good luck!!

SOURCE: cylinder 1 misfire
If it smooths out at wide open throttle it's probably not the injector but rather a substantial vacuum leak at that cylinder.

First of all, a 2004 model engine has no spark plug wires. Exchange the #2 coil located on top of the spark plug chamber with #1 coil and see if that changes the misfire to that cylinder. Yes, it could be a bad plug if they are aged, but the norm is with the coil.

I have changed a few cylinder heads under warranty for this type of problem. The exhaust valve guides wear, this causes the exhaust valve to seat badly, giving low compression. if one cylinder compresion reading is more than about 50 psi below the others, then this warrants head removal. It is quite a job, due to the fact that the camshft id chain driven. If you are up for it then once the head is removed, poor liquid into the exhaust ports and see if it leaks out through any of the exhaust valves.

SOURCE: opel astra headlight adjustment
two screws on each headlight control the direction the headlights are aimed. One screw, usually at the top but sometimes below the headlight, adjusts the headlight up and down. The other screw, located to one side, controls the headlight from right to left. Turning the appropriate screw one direction or the other will change the direction the headlight points.
In order to aim your headlights you need to have a flat vertical surface you can aim your headlights at in front of a level surface on which to park the car. If your driveway is level your garage door is the perfect place to aim your headlights.
The tools you will need for this job are simple. Masking tape is used to mark where the headlights are to be aimed and a screwdriver is needed to adjust the headlights. A tape measure will be necessary to measure the distance of the vehicle to the surface you're using to check the aim and to measure the up and down distances from your marks
