There may be a problem with the connection or the wiring harness between the instrument cluster and the body computer.
No Bus means no signal or power on the line between the two computers.
That no bus error means there is a problem with the serial data network , your best bet is to take to the dealer or an ASE certified repair shop. Or you can google no bus message an see what you come up with , an check it out on youtube also. Why does your Dodge Ram odometer say no bus
cluster or bus wires going down, test bus voltage to cluster,if reference voltage ok to cluster then internally a cluster issue, best place to start diagnosis.
Hi, if odometer say no bus you are loosing your bus signal some were ,with out a bus signal the car not going to run the bus signal runs to every module on your truck. This could be as easy as a blow en fuse to a wire shorted out or a bad module . Depends on your know how around cars . If your not sure you should take to local shop or dealer. If i can help you further just re post.
Thanks dodge tec
Could be a wiring and or PCM issue. Has it ever been wrecked or had the A/C worked on. Check for any pinched wires. Might be as simple as unpinching the harness.
First check is a look in the fuse box for a blown or loose fuse and also push all relays into their sockets. The check engine light shows that a trouble code is registered in the computer. Rent a scanner, read out any code(s), and pursue to repairs.
