The cylinders of your engine are numbered 1-2-3 starting from the front of the engine on the passenger side. Cylinders 4-5-6, front to back, are located on the driver's side.

Firing order should be 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 with number one being front passenger side and number 5 being front driver side. If the firing order is off it should backfire.

a haynes manual from a parts place will show you--or chec the condition of each plug wire-if one looks bad or falls apart--probly need to get all new wires /plugs
