Hi, i have a 2.2HDI 607 on an 03 plate. yesterday it came up with anti pollution system faulty warning, followed by esp and asr warning light. power is affected and does not like going up hills or fast starts. i can drive on manual option and it is better. I checked last night and the no 10 fuse in the engine compartment fuse box has blown ( it is the fuse that is related to a lot of the equipment, just my luck) I changed the fuse but as soon as I turn on ignition, it pops again. the car has done about 140,000 m but relatively trouble free. any ideas or suggestions please? thanks.

Sounds like faulty O2 sensor or bad wiring to it

Hi I've got a Citroen c2 1.1 petrol as from today I've started to get a anti-pollution fault can anyone please tell me what the fault is and if possible a picture of the faulty part thank you.

A sensor dirty or faulty most likely, usually is with C2's, lambda sensor.

My Petrol Peugeot 207 has been saying Faulty Anti-Pollution for ages it has been on a diagnostic check n had its coil packs changed but nothing is working lease advise

oxygen sensor ? in the tail pipe that and the egr valve in intake are the only anti pollution devices I know it could have

Just tried to start my 2007 307 1.6 s all it does is click and then the anti pollution light comes on and says air bags s/belts faulty?

If all you hear is clicking, then the starter's not getting enough power from the battery...

This problem could be a weak battery, faulty wiring (I've even encountered squirrels eating the wires!), but the most likely culprit is usually a weak or bad (dirty) connection between the battery clamps & battery posts. They need to be clean (both the clamps & the posts) and also need to be tight on both ends.

After servicing these, I'd recommend using an anti-corrosive product. (there are numerous methods & products)

A good solid connection may also fix your other problems.

Is there any fault indication on the dash where the radio display is.
Anti pollution is basically citroens way of saying emissions system so it could be as simple as a loose emissions pipe but from what you say and the car does not run it could be your catalytic converter (part of the exhaust system) has failed causing the engine management system to cut in and protect the engine.
If there is no fault apart from anti pollution showing in the radio display find someone with a diagnostic machine to give you a better idea of the fault. Hope this helps a bit.

Have someone read the codes. check for any damaged vacuum hoses or electrical connectors left unplugged

you need to take it to an a.s.e. certified mechanic and do an evap leakdown test to find out where the leak is in the evap system of your vehicle. replace the gas cap and see if the problem goes away as it is often the problem with this trouble code.

I recently replaced the engine on my Citroen c4 2005 model, now the warning lights stay on, the engine overheat, abs and anti pollution warning lights stay on.

The problem for engine overheating rise due to insufficient refrigerant. Try recharging the refrigerant tank with fresh refrigerant and water. If the refrigerant in the tank is of poor quality then also engine overheat.

The reason for ABS light to come may be due to air in the brake fluid line. Try brake bleeding to remove the air bubbles. Also the faulty brake actuator line may cause the problem. Check for actuators on each wheel.

Pollution warning light comes on if the exhaust system not works properly. Check for faulty Oxygen sensor or faulty catalytic convertor.
